Health experts have a very important warning to anyone who uses or is thinking of using cocaine: Users are now developing serious skinreactions after smoking or snorting it

Experts believe that as much as 70 percent of cocaine on the street right now could be contaminated with a veterinary medication drug dealers are using to dilute (or "cut) the drug to make it go farther. The medication, used to de-worm animals, often leaves "purple-colored patches of necrotic skin on ... ears, nose, cheeks and other parts of their body." This can cause permanent scarring, and in some rarer cases involving complications, even death.
